    Vocational Education and Training Sector Student Visa

    International students apply to study in Australia and whose main course of study is:

     

     

        
    • A certificate I, II, III and IV (except ELICOS – please click here for details on the ELICOS visa);
    • A diploma;
    • An advanced diploma;
    • A vocational graduate certificate; OR
    • A vocational graduate diploma.

    You must have been accepted to study full-time at an educational institution in Australia before you apply for this visa.
    Visa Duration
    With the Vocational Education and Training Sector Student Visa, you can study and live in Australia for as long as you are enrolled in a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) and must follow all conditions applied in the visa.
